Myanmar standoff continues

Sep 29 - There have been fresh protests in Myanmar's main city Yangon.

Groups of protesters returned to the streets to hurl abuse at riot police and soldiers.

The protesters scattered down alleyways when the security forces began to charge. Several shots were fired but there are no reports of injuries.
