Human Rights Report - Only Palestinians with Life Threatening Injuries Allowed Access to Israeli Hospitals Short
News According to Physicians for Human Rights report, Palestinians at risk of losing limbs or suffering other debilitating handicaps were being denied access to Israel for treatment during the June clashes in the Gaza Strip. The report claims that only those with life threatening injuries were allowed into Israel for treatment while others with injuries that "only" threatened their quality of life remained in Gaza. Out of a total of 44 transfer requests, 16 were refused by authorities, the report claims.
