Independent Iowa Letters in Play for Ron Paul

Could Iowa yield significant support for the limited-government presidential campaign of Ron Paul (R-Tex)? Strenuous efforts are underway to ensure that support is realized. The January 3rd Iowa caucus vote is important to candidates in terms of momentum, and a good deal of attention is being paid to the state by both Republicans and Democrats.

The Ron Paul campaign and its network of independent supporters are no exception. Canvassing efforts and “walks” to distribute literature are taking place plus an organized effort to “get out the vote” among college students home on winter break.

One of the more intriguing efforts in support of Ron Paul is a letter writing campaign to Iowa independent voters. This letter can be seen at:

According to the site: “Iowa has a population of 3 million, and only 5% of Iowa's population shows up to caucuses, so that's about 150,000 people. We could make a serious impact with this if an extra 550,000 show up that support Ron Paul.”
