Dear Editor,

“I see in your front-page article, ‘Bush Says America Loses Under Democrats,” by the same poorly-read individual who wrote yesterday’s piece on Karl Rove, a regurgitation of statements devoid of analysis.

“These two sound-bites below come from someone who is, to butcher a Texas phrase, ‘all mouth and no brain:’ 1. If the Democrats win, the terrorists win. 2. We will not run from thugs and assassins.

“My contribution to the public debate will be in three short parts:

“First, if either the Democrats or the Republicans ‘win,’ America loses. No one cares about the so-called terrorists, in the context of ten threats, twelve policies and eight challengers (http://meta2.com/PDB) they are no more than three tenths of the total strategic challenge.

“Second, I find it troubling that there is no coverage of the fact that this Nation has no coherent strategy, that Dick Cheney has completely shut-down the policy process, and that the Administration is preparing to announce martial law when the people take to the streets after the forthcoming election in which all the results fly in the face of common sense, using the forthcoming Iranian demonstration attacks, and the collapse of Iraq, as a pretext.

“Third, you do America a real disservice, as do all papers across the land less the Boston Globe, in not honestly evaluating the grounds for either impeachment or (my preference) an incontestable eviction of the extremist Republicans (not the moderate Republicans, we need them) from the Senate as well as the House:

1. Stole Florida election in 2000
2. Lied on Iraq to everyone
3. 9-11 Cover-Up/Obstruction of Justice
4. Violated Rights of Citizens including Habeas Corpus
5. NSA Program to Listen to Citizens without Warrant
6. Violated International Treaties Including Geneva Convention
7. Actively Encourages, as a Policy, Use of Torture
8. Gross Negligence on Hurricane Katrina
9. Allowed Cheney to take over, install Bremer, and destroy Iraq
10. Stole Ohio election in 2004
