Kaine, elected leaders and the mystery of Bilderberg Diana B. Henriques Did you know the governor was in town Wednesday night? Our slate of elected leaders did, and so did someone who had thoughts of a new world order on his mind. Tim Kaine's visit June 11 to discuss the state's transportation mess drew a horde of county supervisors, town council members, delegates, and senators to Leesburg's Harper Park Middle School during the dead of rush hour. This last item is a little fuzzy. Someone stood up and asked Kaine what he thought of an "illegal" meeting that took place in Northern Virginia involving, I think, Condoleeza Rice.
(Article continues below) I looked online and found postings of something called the Bilderberg Conference, which is apparently a secret annual meeting of the world's most influential people who are looking to create a new world order. This year's conference, according to online reports, took place at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly this month. Kaine, who looked a little taken aback by the question from a man who appeared to be in his early 20s, said he could not comment on the meeting because he knew nothing about it. Soon after asking his question, the man, and several other young people, got up in the middle of the meeting and left the room to the sound of a door slamming shut behind them. Any ideas on this one?
