The Ron Paul 2008 presidential campaign has expanded operations in preparation for the Jan. 19 caucuses in Nevada.
The campaign has appointed a new Northern Nevada Field Director in addition to four other staff members in Washoe and the rural counties of Nevada. A call center and headquarters has been set up in Sparks at 1350 East Greg Street, Suite 3. The state campaign headquarters opened in Las Vegas at 438 E. Sahara Street in October.
Ron Paul has spent considerable time in the Silver State, completing two whirlwind tours in the northern and southern areas of the state late last year, with another visit planned for the upcoming week. Press opportunities will be available.
“The Ron Paul campaign recognizes the importance of Nevada,“ said Jennifer Terhune, Nevada Communications Coordinator for the Ron Paul campaign. “Dr. Paul’s message of freedom and limited government appeals to many Nevadans, and we need to turn out that support at the caucus.“
The Ron Paul campaign has over two hundred and thirty registered volunteers in the Reno area, as well as over six hundred in Las Vegas.
